Let's talk about the bathroom. Clean, crisp and white is a safe option that will always look beautiful. However, why not mix it up a little with some riskier elements such as terrazzo flooring or a coloured tile in the shower or as the splashback. Accessories add interest also, so if you are a little nervous to commit to a bold range of hard finishes, a plant, patterned towel combination or colourful hand wash will add character and personality.

Today's The Edit takes inspiration from the La Galerie des Moulages in Villa Medicis in Rome. This room personifies commitment to colour!
